This map harks to a period of European history before the rise of nationalism and the fall of the Holy Roman Empire during the Napoleonic era. This map also shows Scandanavia and European Russia, regions not often seen in maps of this period. Coloring is crisp and clear, and all print remains exceptionally legible despite this map being over 218 years old! Minor inking occurs around the margins. Print date on map states April 1st 1794 and was printed by Robert Wilkinson. The original plate-mark of the printing press is still visible. Map is in A/A+ condition and measures 11 1/2″ x 9 1/4″ and is individually sealed in plastic with a paperboard backing.
