Published 1918, New York by Funk & Wagnalls Company. (Very) large folding map in original slip case w/ 32 pp. Publisher’s pictorial paper wrappers. Map is not new or in “new” condition. Some edge splits, misfolding to paper, given the huge size and fragile nature still well preserved. Remains overall attractive as an object. Paper is gently toned, couple small holes in the side blank margins, small holes along left fold line near the edge, still well preserved, tight, sound. Map displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Please review photos for more detail showing how this enormous wall sized antique map survives. The asking price reflects the condition based on our examination and 35+ years full time exposure to antiquarian books.
