A cosmographic encyclopedia with 1,089 engravings describing the ages of the world since Creation, the book opens with the story of the biblical heptameron. On a side, a large view of TOULOUSE, in southern France. On the other side, Themistocle c. 540 BC, Aristide c. 500 BC, and the poestess Sapho c. Size of the page : 42 x 29,2 cm / 16,5 x 11,4 inches.
