Printed in the 17th century for a rare folio atlas, this loose map offered exactly as acquired. Light old damp staining down both sides, inexpert old paper repairs on back- one at top near centerfold to close a tear, second along Pyrenees border with Spain to back a small area of loss hole. Small adhesions in a few scattered spots from facing page due to old dampness/ pressure, short splits at bottom centerfold blank margin. However, despite the fairly poor physical condition, the map still displays well and has a noble character about it. 17″H x 23 1/4″W. Engraved Area Measures c. 15 3/4″H x 21 3/4″W.
