The map is very detailed, it extends from the valley of Rhone with Lyon, Avignon and Arles to Toulouse and Cahors. Size with margins : 57,4 x 48,6 cm / 22,4 x 18,8 inches. Edition : Amsterdam, 1640, 17th century, Latin edition. Condition : very good condition, in colors, strong paper. Willem Blaeu was the founder of the Blaeu cartography dynasty, the finest mapmakers of the Golden age of Dutch cartography.
