Size with margins : 41,3 x 33 cm / 16,1 x 12,9 inches. Condition : good condition, very small repairs on the back in the margins, handed colored. Edition : Cosmographie Universelle du Monde, Paris, by Nicolas Chesneau and Michel Sonnius, 1 575, 16th Century. The “Cosmographie Universelle” contained the text of Munster’s Cosmography translated into French by François Belleforest. Famed cathedral city of Chartres on left side. Attractive full original hand color. In near VG, clean antiquarian condition, original fold line, typical uniform age toning to sheet which retains its flexibility and structural soundness.
