The game begins by the case 1 with the event “Les 1ers François s’établissent le long du haut Rhin et elisent Pharamond pour leur Roy en 420″, the last case is the number 102 with the event “Naissance du Dauphin, qui a été donné a la France pour combler son bonheur en 1729″. Inside the spiral, 87 numbered cases drawing a crenellated line. Each case contains the name of a King of France from Pharamond, the first one, to LOUIS XV in 1715. Near main cases the portrait of the King is engraved. The first step is to choose a guide who will say out loud the events written in the cases.
